This is actually a used box that I bought for 15 SGD

I thought it was really pretty. But it turns out you can get a brand new one for 25 SGD :(

I guess I was kinda scammed. The box was already in this condition when I bought it.

Wow...

I have'nt posted here since 2014 when I completed my power. Things got lost in the shuffle. I am now trying to categorize my card inventory. So that I can better search when I want to build decks or sell cards. At least I know what I have and where they are 0.o

If you are interested in any of the cards do let me know, but serious buyers only. I tend to cater to collectors. So I will sell only at high or historical high. Still, if you think you have a reasonable price, sure drop me an email (if you can find it :p). Just don't expect me to reply immediately if at all. Since this is not a sales post afterall. Plus who know how long before I post again ya :p

It is called Karn Liberated because well there is a MM2? booster wrapper with Karns pic.

I suspect it is a Japanese pack. I think so because of its shape. i cannot really remember it has been so long.

But if it is, then this was the wrapper of the pack that I opened a Japanese Vendilion Clique. It was a random pack from gamersaurus, so it felt really lucky. Back then I probably could ply it for 50 SGD.

These days I think its 20- 25 usd for english versions. I am not sure about japanese versions :/

I also heard that this folder is locally or it might have been some brand called Victory.

Not sure about that :P

Anyways this is page 1. These are Nissa and the other dude from the duel decks but these are the japanese versions.  Also in the corner is my Vendilion Clique! :)

The Jugan and can't remember the blue dragon names, I think these are the modern master versions.

I think they are rares... not the mythic ones from Iconic Masters.

The Power Completed

It took awhile, but I guess I am glad it is completed....

ironically, even with a full set of power, I still cannot play the deck I want due to the price of the other parts, which are now comparable in price to the power .... :P

The last piece was timetwister just today!

I believe the first piece was the mox sapphire. Followed by the Mox pearl. Then I went for the Black Lotus, then ruby, then jet and finally Mox Emerald.

For the blue power, I went for Ancestral first, followed by Timewalk and finally the Timetwister.


I kinda regretted not getting the Timetwister earlier as it was pretty low for last year and much of this year. I saw a few 200++ ones that were pretty minty (unlimited of course)... this one was a fiver.... I blame Dack and the resurgence of blue spell based vintage decks for the rise in the prices for the blue power (they had been low for awhile) plus oddly Vintage Masters Online.


This makes me kinda rethink (but its all moot now I guess), should you go for the most expensive piece and work downhill, or should you pick up the cheapest at the moment. I think the answer is if you can stave off the temptation to complete fast, it is possible to get a low price (a minty one mind you).

Ah well....


My story for the power is not too interesting, mostly off ebay. And I have a slight adventure with a fake lotus and all.

I hope to become rich enough to translate all these to the beta versions lol. That is a tall order! But we'll see I guess =)

Why almost Zodiac? Well the lucky charms really correspond to the 12 Chinese Zodiac Signs... but Piggy is missing!!! Not sure why... They got Cupid to stand in... now I am sure you will agree with me that this is most odd..pig out on love? Good lord.

What we have here are a set of very limited Doraemon Lucky Charms!


This is SET 4 of 4 sets in total. This week! We have the (in order of the Zodiac - don't listen to me go see your lunar calendar =D), The RAT, The OX, and The ... *cough* PID!!

yah you heard me.... PID! As in Cupid!!! lol Nah this is the replacement for the PIG which was replaced due to Mac Donalds trying to play it safe.


Intriguing situation really. But I guess the heart warming thing is that the Malay and Chinese compatriots seem to have much forebearance and tolerance to each other.

NOTE:

As a Chinese (me I mean me!). You know, I am not really upset they took out the Pig. I mean i think it is silly but easily rationalised and definitely has merit... some at least =)

I am just glad our Malay friends and more importantly fellow Singaporeans have a big heart for each other =)

All cool. But a good reminder of how precious our bond is in Singapore.
